FortniteThe new season has finally arrived and after a week of comic prequel teasers we have finally confirmed that season 4 is all about bringing the Marvel Universe to the Fortnite island, through the first trailer of the season. The trailer aired Thursday at 2 p.m. ET, the same time the game began airing for the first patch of the season.
The trailer opens with short snippets of heroes such as Iron Man, She-Hulk, and Wolverine as they are transported from their worlds to the Fortnite island. Each of these little scenes contains some impressive action, in a somewhat more realistic style than we’ve seen before. Fortnite filmkes.
Finally, once all the different Marvel heroes and villains arrive, we see the full line-up that includes: Iron Man, Thor, She-Hulk, Big, Wolverine, Mystique, Storm, and Doctor Doom.
The Marvel characters look up to some of them FortniteThe most iconic characters, before Thor steps in between the two sides and betrays that he summoned Marvel’s most beautiful to the island to help defend it against Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, on his way from the deepest regions of space.
In addition to the cinematic trailer, Epic has also released the trailer for Fortnite‘s new chapter 2 season 4 battle pass. Thor introduces each of the characters and we see them running around Fortnite card, suggesting that they will all appear as unlockable outfits in this season’s battlefield.
While the trailer definitely has a few hints about what will be in the battle pass this season, we’ll have to wait until Epic puts the pass online, or in-game, to find out the exact benefits this season will be.
Fortnite Chapter 2 season 4 will officially start when the game returns from the patch’s downtime, which should be at 3pm ET on Thursday, August 27th.
