The latest batch of Fortnite weekly challenges is now live. This is what you can expect.
Seven new challenges are now lived in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3, Week 5 of the still popular Battle Royale game begins today, and once again you will be tasked with very basic, almost boring, challenges like searching for chests and fishing.
Of this week’s challenges, only one couple has struggled to create them. You’ll need to use a firefly jar or flare gun in Misty Meadows, for example, to make sure players look for two of the season’s new items.
The only challenge worthy of your own guide is to search floating rings on Steamy Stacks for which we have a guide here. Last week there was a similar challenge that, due to a bug, was automatically completed by Epic Games. Suffice it to say that I miss the days when we had at least two somewhat interesting challenges per week. This is a nap.
In any case, these are the challenges of this week:
- Search Chest in the Sweaty Sands (7 7)
- Eliminations in Retail Row (3)
- Use a firefly jar or flare gun at Misty Meadows (one)
- Land at The Yacht and finish in the top 25 (one)
- Fishing on the steep cliffs (5 5)
- Upgrade a weapon in Salty Springs (one)
- Collect floating rings in steam cells (4)
Pretty basic, right?
Each of them will give you XP to continue updating your Battle Pass. There’s also a new Build-A-Brella challenge available once you reach level 75 and unlock Bottom Cap customization. You simply need to survive 50 storm phases, unlocking the ability to change the color of the Umbrella’s bottom cap.
