The latest tease for Fortnite’s

Chapter 2, Season 4 is a comic strip in the game that looks to tell the story of how Thor and Galactus, and possibly other Marvel heroes, make their way to the island of Fortnite. The comic can be seen in Fortnite itself, and we’ve collected them in the slideshow below as well, and the story is slowly evolving day by day. The first day revealed two pages, and today unveiled two more.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 Comic – Thor and Galactus

It starts with Thor as the King of Asgard and the new Herald of Thunder, which also makes him the newest herald of Galactus, a position previously held by those like Silver Surfer.

Galactus arrived at Asgard at “desperate and beaten and needed help.” He warned Thor of the “coming of the Black Winter, of the death of all things.” He also described the existence of five planets which, if consumed, “would give Galactus the power to push back winter.”

After Thor evacuated the inhabitants of the first planet and Galactus destroyed the planet, she experienced a new disturbance filled with a power that Galactus could not ignore. When Galactus entered this rift, Thor followed as quickly as he could to warn of what life forms existed in this unknown space. He arrives on the island of Fortnite and sees famous Fortnite characters and tries to let them know that he is at peace and means they are not evil.

Well, considering Fortnite is all about getting that Victory Royale, these Fortnite characters ignore Thor’s plea and attack him, after Thor sighs and says “Very well then …”

As of this writing, this is all the story we have, yet it would be safe to assume that we will get more pages in the coming days, leading up to the launch of Chapter 2, Season 4 on Thursday, August 27th.The setup for this crossover that was posted last week reflects the stories told in the Thor (2020) comic book. In this latest Thor series he not only becomes ‘Herald of Galactus’, but there is also a crossover with [spoilers], and Thor manages to kill [spoilers].
