Fortnight’s Galcuts event was a huge arcade shooter – and now the game is down

Surprising themed season of Fornite Finished with a galaxy-sized bang. Due to concerns over the start of the August 4 season, the current season of the game has ended with a live event Fornite Players against a planet-sized supervillain in a dramatic show down – and that game ends with a downfall, replaced by a timer for the start of season 5.

Those who managed to get to the event got things started. I just hung on to the Avengers helicopter for about half an hour, while empty-handed, not able to do anything to make or build a weapon. Even the epic Posted a message Letting the players know they were really in the right place.

When the incident started properly, Galactus slowly set sail for the island before succumbing to ominous words. I’m hungry. He then slapped the helical rear from the sky, and the players were guided into the action by Iron Man himself. It was a bizarre phenomenon: to prevent Galcutas from destroying the island, players had to run a version of the iconic Battalion bus equipped with explosives to feed the supervillain. Things played out like an over-the-top arcade shooter and eventually ended with the galaxy exploding, leaving the island largely intact.

There was also a tease connecting events ForniteOdd Lair: Things ended with a shot of the main character Jonsi, with Grape lying on the floor of the office fee. Currently, the game is slow, the countdown, season 5 will launch tonight at 12pm ET.

Leading to this event, the face of Ga Gala Lactus can be seen in the background, during the Battle Royale match, constantly increasing in size with each passing day. It also appears that developer Epic was expecting a large crowd, warning players to arrive an hour ahead of the 4 p.m. ET kickoff time (although it started shortly after that).

Of course, this is just the latest in a series of dramatic live events Fornite. In the past, it has included the Match vs. Kaiju battle, an explosion that flooded the island, and the Travis Scott concert series. Perhaps the most ambitious people saw the whole island dragged into a black hole, and the game was shut down for several days. Fornite: Chapter 2.
