Fortnight Chapter 2: Season 5 features Baby Yoda and Mandal Ndolorian

Following a catastrophic event starring Superviline Galactus, the latest season Fornite Is almost here. Chapter 2: Season 5 is called “Zero Point”, and it involves hunters of various realities joining forces to fight something called “Loop”. Most importantly: One of the prey is a mandalorian, always accompanied by Baby Yoda (aka Grugu).

While last season was purely Marvel-themed, season Tum has shown a new original spirit Fornite Characters, in addition to the famous Star Wars Bounty hunter. Those who buy this season’s battle pass will be able to unwind characters like the ancient warrior and the scientific hunter who seem torn by Susumo Nihi Manga. There’s also an animal called “Mankak Fighting Flp Pjack”, which sounds pretty Fornite. (This is the game that gave us those bananas, after all.)

Outside of the characters, there are new locations due to the forest area and the zero point where the science lodge explodes. It won’t be a new season either Fornite Without New Weapons: Season 5 additions include Dragon’s Breath Schugan, Mandalarian’s Amban Sniper Rifle and Night Hawk, which lets you track your opponents.

Aside from those additions, the biggest change seems to be a new quest structure. Here’s how developer Epic describes it:

Help to hire

As a hunter, it is your duty to help the characters of this island in their volatile new reality. Take their quests and bonnets, take an intel on your surroundings or hire them to be your partner. Don’t want to negotiate? Challenge them in a duel and get rewards.

Spend your wages

New characters accept only one form of payment: Bar! Earn bars by completing quests and bounties, eliminating players, or finding hidden stasis around the island. Spend your earned bar on new foreign weapons, upgrades, Intel, services and more.

The epic has also tormented “more hunters than realities,” suggesting that additional licensed characters are on the way. With that in mind the company has worked with everyone from Marvel Star Wars Musicians like Travis Scott and Marshmallow have been nominated for NFL titles. From DC, those “hunters” can be just about anyone.
