Former WWE superstar Rusev reveals he has COVID-19

During his live broadcast on Twitch on Sunday afternoon, former WWE superstar Rusev (now passing through Miro) revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The announcement comes a few days after Lana announced that her parents had also tested positive for the virus. Since the announcement, numerous fans have responded on social media wishing him a speedy recovery.

Despite his diagnosis, the “Bulgarian brute” seemed to be in a good mood.

“I am absolutely positive for COVID-19. I am absolutely 100 percent, super mega incredibly positive. Yes, I got the phone call from the doctor …” he said, recalling having tested and contacted a doctor. … ”

“I feel great. I knew it with all the smell and taste, but this just confirms it,” he continued. “The good thing is that I found out about the delivery.”

The former United States champion was released by WWE on May 15.

“The Ravishing Russian” released the news Thursday that his mother had been taken to the ICU after testing positive, then stated that his father had also tested positive later in the day. She provided an update in a YouTube broadcast on Saturday.

WWE has been dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak in recent weeks. Professional fight sheet reported last week that at least 30 positive cases had been found at the WWE Performance Center, and approximately 1,500 tests had been delivered since the end of June.

The ongoing epidemic has led certain fighters to move away from active fighting at the Performance Center, especially Roman Reigns.

“The company (WWE) has done everything possible to make it the safest possible work environment. It is not the workplace that I was necessarily concerned about,” Reigns explained in a recent interview. “The decision was made mainly because each artist travels a lot, and we are all such a diverse group and from everywhere. I am not convinced, and I cannot trust the fact that everyone takes it as seriously and shutting myself up in my house as I am. I trust my life with my coworkers every time I enter the ring, but I cannot put the same trust when my children, my wife and my family are involved.

“But I don’t want it to come out as I’m taking a stand against the company, because I love WWE. I’ve been a part of this company since I was a kid.” “That’s why I always take it so personally when I represent them.”
