Former Washington player Josh Norman tweets a cryptic message about the team’s ‘dark’ past amid rumors of explosive reports.

As speculation grew over an explosive report that could cause more trouble for the NFL franchise in Washington, former Redskins cornerback Josh Norman tweeted a cryptic message about the organization.

Pro Bowler, 32, revealed little in the post about his former team, but hinted at the “dark” past days. Local reporters had warned of a story that could spell more trouble, outside of the Redskins’ name and logo controversy.

DC MAYOR SAYS REDSKINS NAME CHANGE ISN’T THE TEAM’S ONLY JOB: “I THINK THERE WOULD BE MANY PROBLEMS”

“Look, don’t ask me NO QUESTIONS,” the tweet began. “I am going to say this, everything that goes around you … What is done in the dark will come badly to the Light! God always seems to have a way to reposition his people at the right time and reveal truths without saying single word “.

Norman spent three seasons in Washington after signing a five-year, $ 75 million contract in April 2016. He was released in February this year and then signed with the Buffalo Bills.

Washington owner Daniel Snyder announced early last week that the team would withdraw the Redskins’ name and logo amid pressure on their racial insensitivity.

But several local reporters sent vague messages this week hinting at a bigger problem for the franchise.

“The distorted and toxic culture of the Washington soccer team is about to be exposed in a disgusting way. . . Again, ”wrote Jason La Canfora of CBS, a former team reporter.

“What is coming is disappointing and sad,” Julie Donaldson of NBC Sports also wrote.
