Former Saturday Night Live author John Mulani investigates rehab for alcohol, cocaine relapse

John Mulani, the former author of “Saturday Night Live”, is reported to have been investigated in rehab.

The 38-year-old comedian recently relapsed for alcohol and cocaine addiction, Page Six reported on Monday, citing a source. Mulani’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.

The outlet claims that Mulani inspected a rehabilitation facility in Pennsylvania over the weekend, where he plans to receive treatment for 60 days.

According to a source, Mulani supports her decision to seek treatment for her loved ones.

“John’s friends and family are happy that he is finally getting some help and focused on his health,” Insider said.

John Mulleny said he was investigated by the Secret Service through a joke ‘which is not about Donald Trump’.

The comedian has been open about his past struggles with health. The source told the outlet that Mullen “struggled again during the epidemic.” Despite his alleged plight, the source insisted that Mulani “does not fight rehabilitation.”

In 2019, Mulani addressed his previous addiction to alcohol and drugs in an interview for Esquire. He told the outlet that he started drinking at the age of 13 and he saw that it helped him get out of his shell.

“I drank to get attention,” he told the outlet. “I was really outgoing, and then at 12 o’clock, I wasn’t. I didn’t know how to work. And then I was drinking, and I was happy again.”

Mullen claimed he was never a cannabis fan but turned to cocaine, and even remembered taking vicodin under the influence of alcohol.

“I wasn’t a good athlete, so maybe it was something of a young male thing. It’s a physical feat that I can do. Three vicodins and a tequila and I’m still standing.” “Who’s the athlete now?”

He also claimed that he recovered at the age of 23 after going on a weekend “band.”

“He was just insane. Was in a week … was there … I’ll never tell you. It’s mine. I didn’t hit anyone or attack anyone. But yes, I was like ‘you’ again f. — Out of control. And I thought to myself, ‘I don’t like this guy anymore. I don’t care for him.’

According to reports, Mula recently joined “Late Night with Seth Meyers” as a staff writer. The stand-up comedian also hosted “Saturday Night Live” twice in 2020.
