The former retailer talked about how Hollister got ‘messed up’ while working for the ‘Back in Those Days’ brand. He alleged that there are only two positions at the store: back stock and model.

According to Anna, only ‘models’ were allowed to work on the floor and interact with customers. She said they have been called models because Hollister would choose employees to be present in brand advertisements.

“To be a model, you had to be attractive and in the interview process, they rate you on a 1-10 basis,” he said. ‘You had to keep your hair and makeup natural. You couldn’t paint your nails and you were only allowed to wear their clothes which were navy blue and white including shoes. ‘

Anna recalled wearing a ‘modest little flip flop’ during her shift, as it was the same shoe offered at the store at the time, but it wasn’t even half that.

He said, ‘Every Black Friday, they always chose the skinny girl to work with the shirtless guy at the front and paid them more than everyone else because they were the most beautiful.’ ‘She was very upset. He was always on the lookout. ‘

Anna’s story inspired others to do her video duet and share their own experiences. BuzzFeed furthered some of the posts, including Michael Ryan’s videos about his time at McDonald’s.

Michael, known on the platform as ivilglitterqueen, had a lot to say about his former employer and his famous food.

‘He has a lot of science behind everything,’ he said, explaining that straw is sensibly large ‘because it lets more carbonation hit your tongue and makes the soda taste better.’

He also claimed that the fast-food chain pays Coca-Cola commissions to make special syrups with more sugar and flavor.

McDonald’s has confirmed the reasoning behind its giant straw on its website, but the company makes no mention of the special syrup.

According to the chain, Coca-Cola syrup is pre-cooled before entering the fountain dispensers, and the syrup ratio allows the ice to melt strategically, which is why it tastes so good.

Michael alleged that the chicken was “injected with a mixture of salt / water to keep it salty / tasty.” This practice is actually common in the food industry, although it is uncle if McDonald’s uses it.
