Cassie Randolph has had problems.
The former “Bachelor” contestant, until recently, had been dating Colton Underwood, who starred in her reality dating competition season, but the two separated in May.
Now, Randolph, 25, has tackled his time since the breakup in a long Instagram post on Wednesday.

The post contained a photo of Randolph smiling as he relaxed on the beach.
“The last 2 years have put me in the spotlight after living a fairly normal life. Since then, I have been trying to learn how to change the changes in my life and at the same time try to hold on to who I am,” he began. “I used to think that a platform would give me a voice, but in many ways a platform takes your voice. For someone like me it has been crippling.”
The former reality star said he has had to deal with “constant drama, fake articles and nasty messages,” comments and rumors since he entered show business.
She also noted that “incredible mental strength” is needed to ignore the comments coming from people who watched the show, implying that it was heavily edited.

“Sometimes I just want to say what I want and forget my sensitive side that strives to do the ‘right’ thing, to be calm and rational, to be kind, to think of others first, etc.,” he continued. “I feel like saying, okay, everything your mother hates me for my breakup, please stop. It’s been a terrible few months for ME trying to get through it. I’m STILL getting through it. It’s hard enough without your know-it-all comments. You literally don’t know anything, so go away. “
Randolph said she feels selfish about feeling frustrated considering other issues like the coronavirus and the Black Live Matter movement that have taken center stage, all of which have put her “personal issues in perspective.”
