It’s two goals in two Premier League games now for Miguel Almiron, who continued his good form for Newcastle United against West Ham United on Sunday.
After scoring an impressive solo goal in a 4-1 shot by host Bournemouth on Wednesday, the former Atlanta United standout managed the first-time equalizer at St. James Park.
The Paraguayan player, who has reportedly attracted Atlético de Madrid’s interest, split a pair of West Ham defenders to connect on an Emil Krafth serve to level from the edge of the six-yard box.

The 26-year-old, who joined Newcastle in January 2019 on a record transfer, has eight goals in 38 appearances in all competitions this season.
Also on Premier League Sunday, American youth international Indiana Vassilev stepped off the substitute bench for Aston Villa to play the final five minutes + halftime in a 2-0 loss to new champion Liverpool at Anfield. Vassilev, who made his Premier League debut on January 18 against Brighton, made his third appearance on Sunday. The 19-year-old signed a new two-year contract in May.
