The whole scene of the ‘Eleanor’ Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 replicas is extremely exaggerated. However, the Eleanor you’re looking at is not a replica, but one of the real cars from the 2000 blockbuster Gone in 60 seconds.
Only 11 identical Eleanor Mustangs were built for film production by Cinema Vehicle Services, Steve Stanford, and Chip Foose. Only three of these cars are claimed to be functional and this appears to be one of them.
The car is for sale in Al Ain Class Motors, one of the leading exotic car dealers. Very few details about the car are provided in the list, such as what part this Eleanor played in the movie starring Nicholas Cage. We have contacted the dealer to try to get more information.

Listed with a starting price equivalent to $ 498,551, the car is not cheap. However, one of the other Eleanor models from the film sold at a Mecum auction earlier this year for $ 852,500, making this example a bargain. A glance through the images shows that he has Carroll Shelby’s signature on the dash, something that was missing from the car he sold in January.
If this example has the same powertrain as the other movie cars then you have a 351 cubic inch V8 with an Edelbrock and nitrous intake. The list says the car is good for 641 hp and has only 1,000 miles (1,609 km) on the clock.
