In case you haven’t heard yet, Ford has a new Bronco that debuted a couple of weeks ago. This launch of the new model has been developed mainly unnoticed, in the same way that the Batmobile goes unnoticed in a Cars and Coffee event. Suffice it to say that there is considerable excitement for the SUV and its various options, especially one that transforms the Bronco into a monster. Of course, we are talking about the Sasquatch package.
In short, the Sasquatch package turns the Bronco into a hard core SUV from the factory. Add front and rear locking differentials, high-clearance suspension with upgraded shocks, robust 35-inch muddy terrain tires, and high-clearance fender flares to give the tires more room. Everything sounds good, and we’ve seen photos of the Bronco equipped with this package. However, so far we haven’t seen a Sasquatch-equipped Bronco alongside the standard model. Yes, it does a little A little difference.

These photos come to Motor1.com courtesy of Nigel Gatone. She shared these photos on Bronco6g.com and was kind enough to shoot us high-resolution versions so we could get a closer look. Parked next to each other, the Sasquatch package makes the standard Bronco look small in comparison. Actually, the difference is not that significant, but from an aesthetic point of view, there is no denying the aggressive look that comes from adding that package.
The photos also include comparison shots with the Ford F-150 and the Bronco’s main competitor, the Jeep Wrangler. A Wrangler Rubicon would be a better matchup, but it’s still an interesting look and will undoubtedly become a significant new rivalry in Detroit. If only Chevrolet could revive the Blazer to make it a trifecta of muddy excitement. Oh wait a minute, the Blazer I was revived … like a smooth roder. Yes, that is awkward.
As for the Sasquatch Package, the good news is that you can get it on any level of Bronco equipment, including the two-door Bronco Base that starts at under $ 30,000. We suspect Ford will have no shortage of buyers for the beefy SUV at that price.
