Ford Bronco reserves exceed 150,000

Ford is optimistic about the Bronco.

The automaker’s CEO Jim Hackett said in the company’s earnings call in the second quarter on Thursday night that it has already received 150,000 reservations for the next SUV, which was revealed on July 13.

Ford had previously confirmed that the 7,000 had been discussed for a limited-production Bronco First Edition model, with a starting price of $ 60,800.

“The reserve numbers are far beyond what we expected and these are two highly attractive nameplates in three body styles, so we don’t have them in our portfolio today,” said Ford COO Jim Farley. , referring to gates 2 and 4 – Bronco Sport’s smaller Broncos and SUVs.
