The Boeing 737 Max is back and here to stay.

Boeing reports that thousands of passenger flights have already flown out of the plane and more airlines are resuming service each month.

Troubled in the past, the Maxus is still a groundbreaking aircraft and offers equally exciting features for airlines and passengers. Airlines love the cost-saving economics of aircraft while passengers will enjoy Boeing’s state-of-the-art onboard features like “Sky Interior” complete with mood lights and large overhead compartments.

American Airlines and United Airlines were the first two U.S. carriers to relaunch the flying aircraft after 20 months of grounding imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration. In February, I took flights on each of the airlines ’Max aircraft to see how each airline was handling a delicate return on service, especially after the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which sank passenger confidence.

On the American, I flew from New York to Miami, on the same route that the plane started its second post-grounding. And at United, I flew from Denver to Houston, Texas on the airline’s first Max flight after grounding.

The onboard offer was similar in both airlines, but the difference mainly came down to the fact that both flew the infamous plane to inform passengers.
