Florida Vs. Georgia: Forecast, Pick, Differences, Point Spread, Live Stream, TV Channel, Football Game

No. 8 Florida and No. 5 Georgia will clash in an annual tournament game on Saturday that has local, regional and national implications. Bragging rights, one edge of the SEC pre-title race and the hope of a college ledge football playoff, one of the highest or highest competitions in college football history.

The Gators are getting a hefty win over Missouri who saw their very malicious defense Tiger have a 20% conversion rate on the third downs – which is the best sign of their season. Gators fans are hoping their defensive success is the beginning of a trend, not an outlet.

The Bulldogs topped Kentucky 14-3 in Lexington last week, behind Zamir White’s historic game, with a touchdown on 136 yards and 26 carry. Success on the ground allowed outrageous coordinator Todd Monken the ability to keep things tidy and avoid putting too much pressure on quarterback Statson Bennett IV.

Who wins the latest chapter of this historical contest? Let’s take a look at the stories, before making some expert straight up and against the spread. Odds by William Hill Sportsbook.

Storylines

Florida: No offense after COVID-19 scattering. Quarterback Kyle Tresc is tied for the SEC’s lead in a touchdown pass with Matt Coral of Touch Le Miss despite playing in two short games. He has at least four touchdown passes in every game this season, including four against the Tigers last week. Strictly ending Kyle Pitts was one of the game’s opening season stars, and Swiss Army Knife Cadarius Tony added an element to the offense that some teams could copy.

Defense lineman Zachary Carter and linebacker Antoine Powell will be without him due to a brawl at halftime last week, but defensive lineman Kiri Campbell returned to action last week and should be a factor moving forward.

Georgia: The big story in Athens this week revolves around the usual-stout defense that is missing some key pieces. Safety Richard Lacont (traffic accident), nose guard Jordan Davis (elbow) and defensive end Julian Rochester (knee) are out this week, with many others starting. This is a team that relies heavily on suggesting a style of play with its defenses, like its calling gender card, which will be more difficult on Saturdays than the previous week.

The Bennett Bulldogs have an early quarterback, but his grip is slipping a bit. The former walker has dropped five interceptions in the last two games and has not shown the ability to change games with his hands. Star wide receiver George Pickens was unable to make the trip to Kentucky last week and will be needed this weekend if the Bulldogs are forced into firing.

Game Predictions, Elections

Give me Florida to win, give cover and give Georgia a double digit top. Defense will no longer be able to win the championship. “Only” protects enough. Florida is high enough to cruise Georgia’s past, with coach Kirby Smart’s crew in dire straits. Trace and the rest of the offense will empty Georgia’s defense and score in the 30s. Will Bennett and the Bulldogs be able to continue? There is no chance. Pick: Florida (+3.5)
