Florida, tropical frustration and path near spaghetti models

MIAMI, Florida – Due to the presence of Tropical Depression ETA (formerly Investment 96L and Hurricane ETA) on the Caribbean, NOAA’s National Hurricane Center issued a public consultation on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard.

This is the first time an Atlantic hurricane season in the Greek alphabet has reached the name Eta.

This is the twentieth hurricane of the 2020 season, setting a record for the number of hurricanes established in 2005.

Tropical frustration and projected path

The tropical depression is located approximately 275 miles west-southwest of Eta Gand Cayman and is moving 12 miles per hour (19 km / h) northeast.

NHC forecasters say a northeast pace is expected from a fast forward move early Sunday.

A turn to the north and northwest is expected on Sunday afternoon.

On the official NHC forecast track, Eta’s center will cross the northwestern Caribbean Sea tonight, head to the Cayman Islands on Saturday, near Central Cuba on Saturday night and Sunday and Sunday late night contacting the Florida Keys or South Florida.
