Gibson alleged that gang members are throwing parties to spread COVID-19 among themselves. He said that Osceola residents are now afraid.

According to Gibson, they have already received more than 600 noise complaints since March. He noted that one of these meetings was attended by more than 400 people, according to an article published in the Daily Mail.

Gibson said these gangsters come from central Florida and rented multiple vacation homes in the area, focusing on three closed-housing developments.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Department has released a video from one of the parties. The video showed cars blocking the road and a large group of people gathered to dance and have fun. The video was taken earlier this month.

They also released a video that showed many cars blocking the intersection that happened in May. The party ended when the police arrived. The sheriff said Osceola County residents now live a life of terror.

Gibson firmly believed that those who attended the parties were trying to mix with each other to spread the coronavirus. The sheriff added that what the county is experiencing now would trigger a sudden increase in COVID-19 infections.

“From what I have been told, they are referred to as COVID-19 parties where they actually get together and try to mix together to potentially spread the virus to each other if they are asymptomatic or whatever the case might be,” he said. Gibson.

Gibson noted that while partygoers may not be at risk if they get COVID-19, they could pass it on to someone. They can pose a risk to others by spreading the virus. The county has recently experienced a tremendous increase in COVID-19 infections.

Gibson emphasized that transmission of the virus is possible between partygoers and their families. The sheriff explained that they can get infected and take the virus home and then possibly infect their parents or elders.

Meanwhile, there have been a series of arrests and shootings related to the gang members’ parties. In April, a man was arrested after a shooting at one of the meetings. The 20-year-old man was identified as Demetrius Cox.

According to Gibson, the police have been able to disperse some of the parties. However, in most cases, fireworks were fired at police officers to push them back. He also said that they recovered a weapon in one of the parts.
