Florida Congress-elected tests positive for the virus

MIAMI (AP) – South Florida Congressman-elect Carlos Gimenez has tested positive for the coronavirus, his campaign announced Friday.

The former mayor of Miami-Dade County and his wife, Lourdes, tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday after experiencing mild symptoms, a statement said.
