First Xbox Series X update rollout with more dynamic background and UI changes

The November update for the Micro .ft, Xbox Series X, Series S and Xbox One consoles is starting today. The Microsoft Software Update is the first dashboard update for Microsoft’s next-gen console and includes more dynamic backgrounds specific to the Xbox Series X and Series S.

The update adds six new dynamic background designs, with a clear nod to the older Xbox console. Everyone can choose from the Xbox Dashboard’s settings panel, and MicroSFT says it’s working on additional styles, colors and designs for future console updates.

With an updated dynamic background, the Xbox Series X and S are getting a new tag that can notify you when the game uses AutoTo HDR. You’ll see the tag when you open the Xbox Guide during the game, and that’s how Quick Resume pops up in the upper right-hand corner.

Microsoft did not mention whether improvements have been added to the November update and performance or stability, or whether Quick Resume has seen improvements. Quick Resume hasn’t been working properly with the huge titles since the Xbox Box X Series X and Series S launched, and Microsoft blamed the error, saying it was working to fix it.
