It’s already Friday the 23rd of October in Australia and New Zealand, which means some customers who have bought an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro have their new devices on hand. We’ve seen dozens of reviews of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro from media sites, but now the first impressions of regular Apple Pal customers are available.
Owners of the new iPhone 12+ and 12 Pro are sharing their opinions on the device MCummers Forums and their own new iPhone waiting or thinking of buying, the impression of the average consumer gives a useful insight.
MCummers Reader Bordisboi has shared several photos and said that the lighter weight of the 12 Pro is immediately noticeable coming from the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The color of the Pacific Blue iPhone is described as “beautiful”, and Bordisboi found that the square-edged edge makes the iPhone “nice to hold” and “less slippery”.
Redditter, who also got the new Pro in Pacific Blue, said he’s glad he didn’t choose the Mini because the squared off shape makes the iPhone 12: more compact. He also said that the shiny edge of the iPhone attracts a lot of fingerprints.
Twitter user Only That said the new iPhone 12 Pro looks lighter than the iPhone XS and seems to have a warmer display tint.

- It’s hard to tell the difference between the photos taken with the 12 Pro and the 11 Pro Max
- The MagSafe magnet is “quite strong” but doesn’t “magically connect” cases like the one immersed in the Apple event.
- The iPhone 12 Pro has a warmer display than the iPhone 11 Pro MaxD
- The bezel looks thin
- Face ID speed is the same
- The new iPhone iOS 14.1 is installed
