Interesting excerpts from a 15-page interview about FF7R that was released on Famitsu tomorrow:
-The next installment is already in full swing.
-They couldn’t go any further with the Madam M massage scene, otherwise the ratings would go up
-Roche was supposed to have a battle in Ch. 14 pic.twitter.com/UbQ8xQpYq4

According to the blog source, full development has begun for the second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, after the launch of the first part in April 2020.
Aitakimochi pulled out another interesting quote from the same interview, detailing Nomura’s intentions for the launch of the second part. “We know that everyone wants the next delivery quickly. We would also like to deliver it as soon as possible. Since we were also able to see the quality line from the first delivery, we hope to make the next delivery even better in quality that can make for an even better experience “says the quote. “We should get it out as soon as possible, so please wait. I think we can clearly convey the address when we officially announce the next installment.”
Perhaps most interestingly, executive producer Yoshinori Kitase also explained that “the new Final Fantasy 7 story has just begun.” That contrasts somewhat with Kitase’s previous comments, when he said that the story of the original game was not changing dramatically.Hopefully we will see the reveal of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 in the near future. In early July, we reported that the development of the game was “affected by COVID-19”, and subsequently it was working from home. We gave the first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake an April 8, noting that it “gives an exciting new life to a classic.”
