FIFA 21 game apparently leaking

The FIFA 21 game appears to have leaked to Twitter, sparking some new features and an updated user interface. A ‘FIFA 21 Beta’ Twitter account appeared yesterday, posting a variety of clips and screenshots of the game on the platform. A ‘FIFA EA Play’ watermark appears to move across the screen during the footage, suggesting these clips may have leaked from a preview event linked to EA’s latest storefront.

The footage shows an updated purple-toned user interface for this year’s installment, which is comparable to the colors used in the official Twitter brand FIFA 21.

It also appears that changes have been made to the lead system (as can be seen in the image above), and the account shows a number of what appear to be updated player faces for players from Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid. Other tweets show gameplay, expected to be similar to last year’s edition, and lists of celebrations.

The leaks appear to come from a version of the “FIFA Producer Tour” game, and the title screen notes that this is a preview version of the game, rather than a leaked demo. It is unclear from the footage whether this is a current-generation or next-generation version of the game, though it looks surprisingly similar to FIFA 20.
