Fans of the game can be happy after an annoying feature of the popular FUT game mode for good has been removed, with a great new feature added
Remember when you just wanted to get to the next game of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), but first you had to apply for a squad fitness card to get your players in full fitness?
Good news: fitness cards have been completely abolished by FIFA 21.
EA Sports has confirmed that after listening to community feedback, the consumer FUT items – along with training cards – will not exist in the new game.
Players will still lose fitness and fitness within 90 minutes of a match, but they will be automatically loaded in time for their next match for the statistical categories full.
This means that gamers no longer have to use coins to buy fitness cards and then spend time, which means they can instead concentrate more time on playing the game or making important team management decisions.
Removing training cards means that people can not apply attribute boosters to certain players that made them almost unstoppable, such as promoting either category Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
It remains to be seen what EA Sports will use to replace the weight of these consumables in packages – and whether it means FIFA 21 gamers will receive more players.
FIFA 21 adds new FUT Co-op mode
FUT has generally been a solo mode in the FIFA video game series, but now EA has added several features to keep gamers through the mode with a friend.
An online cooperative mode has been added allowing the user to play a maximum of two-on-two head-to-head online with a partner in squad field battles, division rivals or friendly matches.
If FIFA 21 fans participate in this feature, they will not sacrifice individual progress for their own FUT team, with points earned from the results of co-op matches accumulating as in standard squad field battles and division rival games.
The co-op mode will allow the duo to choose which FUT squad they use from both of their stables – allowing gamers to experience playing with different teams and players.
EA Sports will also introduce co-op targets that will be exclusive to this type of game mode – which means it will encourage people to find a friend to play with more often.
How will FIFA 21 Division Rivals be different?
Earlier in Division Rivals, as on FIFA 20, users would be expected to play more and more volume of matches in the mode to get higher rewards.
In FIFA 21, EA Sports has decided to limit the number of matches that go to rank in the mode to 40, which means that any additional matches will only go to collecting skill points as FUT Champions points.
This will give more people the chance to get high rewards in the Ultimate Team game mode.
Being placed first in a division has also changed, with gamers now being able to get their initial position within the division structure from just playing match-fixing games – if they are not comfortable jumping directly online.
The old way of placing – via grading contests in Divival Rivals mode – will still apply if people want to qualify this way.
