Ferris Bueller was right: life moves pretty fast.
More than 30 years later Ferris Bueller’s day off On the big screen, the cast of the iconic teen comedy will be reunited in the Josh Gad Quarantine series on YouTube, Gathered apart.
A day before the meeting, actress Jennifer Gray, who played Ferris’s sister Jeanie Bueller in the classic film, shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set on Instagram.
The retrospective shots feature several cast members, including herself, Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller), Alan Ruck (Cameron Frye), Mia Sara (Sloane Peterson), Richard Edson (the infamous garage assistant), and the late filmmaker, John Hughes.
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around every once in a while, you might get lost,” Gray, 60, captioned the images, referencing one of Broderick’s most famous lines from the movie. .

the Dirty Dancing star also added hashtags such as “extra hits,” “private stash,” “slow down,” “life moves pretty fast,” and “simpler times.”
The footage captured several candid moments, including a kissing kiss between Gray and Sara, a snap of Ruck, Broderick, and Hughes chatting on set, and a photo of Ruck throwing away the Detroit Red Wings jersey he wears in the movie.
Earlier this week, Gad released a preview of the meeting on Twitter, giving an idea of which cast members they’ll be attending. Gray, Broderick, Sara, and Ruck will join Gad to discuss the decades-old film that continues to influence pop culture today.

In each episode, Gad highlights a different charity and tries to raise money for those who struggle during this time. The charity featured in this week’s episode has yet to be announced.
Other cast meetings on the Gad show have included The Goonies, Return to the future, Lord of the Rings, Ghostbusters, and Splash.
The cast of Ferris Bueller’s day off is slated to appear in the Gad final Gathered apart episode on Sunday at 12pm ET / 9am PT.
