A female hunter claims she has received death threats since becoming a model for Zone 300, a streaming channel specializing in hunting and fishing content.

Johanna Clermont, a 23-year-old student in France, is considered a ‘hunting influencer’ with her more than 300,000 followers on social media.
Clermont’s pro-hunting brand has claimed since the early capture of those on Instagram and Facebook that it receives death threats from social media users because of its hobby. And now that her image is being used on billboards and posters in Paris to promote the new streaming service, the backlog has grown.

Clermont, who has been hunting since she was 16, told The Telegraph that threats from anti-hunting activists within her school became so extreme that she eventually decided to change her last name.
Now, however, she appears to be taking the threats and criticism as she continues to work toward her larger goal of breaking “stereotypes,” centering on women in the male-dominated arena of hunting and fishing.

“I know. It may be surprising to see a young blonde like me. But I want to break the stereotypes,” she told The Telegraph.
Clermont, however, does not only receive criticism from one side. Clermont told the outlet that the hunting community also accused her of being more of a talking model than a hunter.
“Getting rid of people is my second passion,” she said.

Martine Pion, president of the National Association of La Chasse au Féminin, seems to be a great critic of the young hunter.
‘We do not share the same way of looking at things. “Being a spokesperson and staying independent seems difficult to me,” she told The Telegraph. ‘That the boys find her beautiful, fine. I may be annoying, but our case is not about appearance.
