During yesterday’s Ubisoft Forward event, Far Cry 6 was officially revealed. While we are still waiting to see the game offering, Ubisoft has released a batch of screenshots for the game. You can see all of these screenshots in the gallery below.
Far Cry 6 takes place in the fictional tropical Yara country, ruled by President Anton Castillo. Castillo is portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, an accomplished actor known for his role as Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Players take on the role of a freedom fighter named Dani Rojas, who can be male or female.

Currently Far Cry 6 will be available on February 18, 2021. It will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4, PS5, and Stadia. If you buy the game on Xbox One or PS4, you can get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X or PS5 version respectively. We don’t have much detail on exactly what those enhancements will contain beyond 4K resolution.
