No one has more Stacked lineup of fictional analysts And NFL team reporters than ESPN. It’s a rare backfield by the committee which is a really good thing for fictional administrators. Every Tuesday, we’ll ask our NFL Nation reporters a series of burning questions to inform you of your sorry-wire pickups and roster decisions.
If you need a reminder of how fantasy can be, the three leading scorers in Week 5 were the huge receivers Chase Clapul, Travis Fulgam and Brandin Cooks (who got zero catches a week earlier).
The good news is that if you’re thin in the receiver, you can catch the league wire in many leagues – along with the alphabet others we’ve highlighted below.
But on what point can you really trust to move forward? As always, our NFL Nation Crew is here to help.
The Steelers’ second-round draft pick (baked 8.8% in the ESPN League) became the first recipient in NFL history to have three recipients with a touchdown and one game with a fast TD – 110 Finishes with seven catches for yards and three runs for 6 yards. His 11 goals were seven more than his previous high.
Of course, it is reasonable to be skeptical because the Steelers prefer to spread the ball. We’ve been talking about Johnson’s breakout prospect for Dionte just a few weeks ago, and we’re still waiting for Juju Smith-Schuster to warm up. But Steelers reporter Brooke Pryor thinks Clapul’s breakout quarterback is sustainable because of the confidence he has gained from Ben Rothlisberger.
“It depends on what you hear,” Prior said. “To hear Mike Tom Tom Malin say that, the Steelers’ strength is in their huge receiver depths, and Clapul was a better match against the Philadelphia Eagles. With that revelation, it looks like the Steelers will continue to spread the ball, and Clapul. But to Rothlisberger, Clapul exploded for four touchdowns because of his own talent and smarts.
