A famous three Michelin-star restaurant in Napa Valley has been completely gutted by a California fire.
The acclaimed restaurant on Medawood was reduced to rubble Monday in a glass fire that tore through Napa County and forced thousands of people to flee their homes, a local ABC affiliate reported, according to a local ABC affiliate.
“We’ve all parted ways,” tram chief chef Christopher Costo wrote on Instagram on Monday.

Insider reported that the restaurant plans to rebuild and reopen.

A rapidly growing glass fire in the Napa Valley erupted around 4 a.m. local time on Sunday morning and tripled in size during the day. It has now burned to 42,560 acres with 0.5 per cent content, the station reported.
Government Gavin News declared a state of emergency in Napa, Sonoma and Shasta counties on Monday, as all three fire incidents occurred in those areas.

The restaurant at Meadowwood was one of at least 80 buildings destroyed by the glass fire, CNN reported.

The restaurant on Medawood was one of seven restaurant restaurants in the state that received three stars.
New York critic Tejal Rao criticized New York Times in a 2019 review of TRM and other fine dining, saying, “In some parts of the country, this kind of noble style is the focus of classic style: restaurants with great prestige, extravagant food and deep wine cellars.” Options in the Napa area.
