Fall Guys season 2 comes out in October, adding new medieval content

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, like other battle royal games, will operate on a seasonal system. Developer Mediatonic announced its second season – and what that means for gamers – during Gamescom 2020’s Opening Night Live presentation, hosted by Geoff Keighley.

As part of the new season, Mediatonic will update Fall Guys with new levels inspired by the medieval centuries. Of course, there are also new outfits to unlock, all related to the season 2 theme. Wizards! Knights! Dragons! It’s all there. The new season begins in October.

Published by Devolver Digital, Fall Guys was released on August 4th and is already the most downloaded game ever on PlayStation Plus. The wacky Battle Royale game has been a hit across platforms: It was released in August as part of PS Plus, but it has also sold 7 million copies on Steam, and regular players are excited to see what’s next for the game. Mediatonic and Opening Night Live host Keighley began plaguing season 2 prior to the presentation, but the full announcement came during the event.

Fall Guys is currently available for Windows PC players via Steam and on PlayStation 4. A mobile game is coming to China, but developer Mediatonic has not confirmed other ports of the game.
