Fall Guys pits brands against each other for a costume in-game

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout developer Mediatonic forces The Brands to fight in the name of charity. The game’s official account tweeted today that because “the thirst of brands is unreal”, it will create a special costume for the highest bidder. All proceeds will go to Special Effect, a scientific charity for gamers with physical disabilities.

Since its release earlier this month, Fall Guys has become an instant hit. In the first 24 hours after launch, the game attracted more than 1.5 million players. The Battle Royale game supports a maximum of 60 players in a series of mini-games; Players are eliminated through several rounds of randomly selected games before a final player emerges victorious. Part of the fun of the game is earning costumes and customization options to make your rubber bean out.

After two weeks, Mediatonic says it will confirm the details with its winner and publicly share the confirmation of the donation. That being said, not only can someone who spends money get into the game. “If we decide that your brand is offensive / inappropriate, we will drop your banner and choose the next highest!” tweets the developer.
