(Reuters) – Facebook Inc (FB.O) said on Friday that Apple Inc (AAPL.O) has rejected his request to waive the 30% commission fee it takes on apps mentioned on iOS devices, and critically publicly criticize a colleague with big tech.

Facebook said it was asking for an exemption so small businesses would not have to pay Apple’s cut for paid online events on the social networking platform.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Facebook comments come a day after Apple removed the popular video game “Fortnite” from its app store for violating in-app payment guidelines, prompting developer Epic Games to file federal anti-trust laws that break the rules of Apple Challenge.

Apple charges a cut of between 15% and 30% for most in-app subscriptions and payments, though there are some exceptions for companies that already have a credit card in place for iPhone customers if they also make a payment in- offer app that would benefit Apple.
