We got an eventful start show before Extreme Rules that saw Kevin Owens defeat Murphy, among other antics. The Horror Show themed PPV started after a cinematic video package with the Superstars to face off later in the evening. The New Day came out first to defend the SmackDown tag titles in a table game.
