Samsung’s efforts in folding have seen both excitement and failure, but in 2020 things have only gotten better. Today, ahead of its launch next week, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been heavily leaked with some official-looking renders, showing off the external display for the first time.
MySmartPrice Today we publish a gallery of images that show the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in detail, especially showing its outer screen, which is a huge Upgrade over the original Galaxy Fold.
Starting with the phone’s outer shell, we can see the same camera module and colors that have been previously leaked in the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series. That includes the matte glass finish, but the eyes are immediately drawn to the outer display. We can see that the 4-inch screen with lock of the original Fold’s bezel has been updated with a screen that occupies the entire front of the device.
Inside, we can also see where Samsung has made improvements. As was also shown in a leak last night, the internal display neglects the larger notch, limiting clipping to a single punch camera, just like what’s on that larger external display. According to previous rumors, there is also a 120Hz screen on this device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 definitely seems to be a major update on what came before, and we can say that without even knowing what’s inside! According to Samsung’s own teasers, the device will be officially announced on August 5.
