Thursday update: The Target PS5 Restock is scheduled for this morning, Thursday, March 11, for internal communication of multiple employees, and Tekradar can confirm that the stores are firmly in the inventory with the PS5 Disc stock.
“We have 40 behind the PS5,” a target employee who wished to remain anonymous told the Tekradar on Wednesday night, hours before the scheduled console left. Emphasizing that stores will change, he noted that “but we only have two PS5 discs and two Xbox Series Xs on hand.”
Starting this Sunday, it supports our previous report, detailing the fact that Target stores were combining PS5 and Xbox consoles to stay alive sometime this week. New information – important to find this hard-to-buy-console that sells in minutes – was first dug up by YouTuber Jack Randall, who specializes in PS5 and Xbox Series X re-stock videos and live streams. When is the Target PS5 in stock again? We know the due date, but the time to re-stock the target is never part of the communication. In fact, one of the ‘Ship It’ buttons at the online store kept alive one Tuesday morning, fooling everyone into thinking the console was in stock – two days ago no one actually bought it.
Two weeks ago – much like today, Thursday morning – the Target PS5 restart took place at 7:47 a.m. EST. And it’s the same in all regions of the U.S., so time CST. / 5 :: 47 a.m. M.S.T. /: 4 :: 47 P.S.T. However, that doesn’t mean it will be the same time on Thursday. It can be before or after. There is also an outside chance that if stores do not achieve inventory goals, Target will rearrange this. It is rare.
Important to know: Sometimes one console comes alive before another, as the target hangs the rollout for 15 to 30 minutes.

Tekradar has confirmed that Target employees are preparing for the PS5 restoration for this week. We know that the Xbox Series X Restock was designed for the same online online only ordering process, employees tell us, although it console inventory and some stores have less PS5 Digital Edition.
This is not the time for target employees to deny us the PS5 restore date and inventory status. We got updates from some stores from both employees and Eagle Eyed customers.
“We have about 8 Xbox consoles and 22 PS5 consoles,” he told us on Sunday in a direct message from another target employee, who wished to remain anonymous. Again, at the Three Target stores, employees told us that there are many more PS5 disc versions – and far fewer than the PS5 digital versions for the upcoming Target re-stock.
Tips for getting the target PS5 restarted
Critical: Target employees have insisted on not showing up at stores to order consoles. This store has only online-order with shop option. Essentially, the target is not what many people want to show for roaming the isles.
Pro Tip: The target only allows for -line-ordering, but in-store shopping. This means that some stores, especially in larger cities, will run faster. If your nearest store is finished, try adjusting your pick location.
New information: We’ve also learned that not all stores will carry next-gen consoles. Some types of launches are choosing to receive new shipments later, employees told us. Consumers will not be willing to deal with the insanity that erupts at target stores for their store and curbside pickup orders.
Target uses its local stores to purchase next-gen consoles, and it does not deliver directly to customers from regional warehouses, as we do in the U.S. Looking with each other retailers in. This means that it is difficult for scalpers to buy inventory across the country.
We initially heard that the PS5 restocked this week, early Monday from our target warehouse source, but late Thursday from others. This opened up the possibility that it could be in the next week, which is exactly what we are looking for. The target is at corporate headquarters to recruit store managers.

The good news is that it wasn’t hard to find a console either during Walmart and Best Buy Restocks compared to what people went through last weekend. The target website and the PS5 and Xbox Series X ordering process requires some effort to add a console to the cart, but completing the purchase is fairly easy.
Not every store will have this retok. Tekradar visited the Herald Square store in Manhattan, and staff there said they often did not carry a PlayStation. Instead a larger Harlem location was suggested for the upcoming PS5 Restock. So it may be available on a store-by-store basis.
Based on our reporting, calling target stores does not result in console stock responses. Their main telephone line includes an automated messaging machine that insists they will not give PS5 and Xbox stock information again. It will tell you something about the volume of calls you receive.
The Tecader also has many photos of the boxes in the target broom that show the Xbox Series X and PS5 inventory. Until we stopped those pictures at the beginning we can’t be sure there will be any trace on our source that can’t be found.
The target PS5 and Xbox will not be alone in stock again
We saw this week’s limited PS5 and Xbox Series X relays from Costco on Tuesday morning, a big bang for the gamestop Tuesday afternoon console bundles and an easy-to-receive bundle from Antonline on Wednesday. Thousands of people were finally able to get the console through our alerts.
However, we will not be able to do this today. According to the photos we are getting from its warehouses on Monday, Best Buy is just collecting more PS5 and Xbox inventory. Again, we have been provided with images and edited UPC codes and icons on the walls that can be found in our resources.
While the target is scheduled for Thursday, we do not yet have an official date for Best Buy. Instead, we know the store’s pattern: it’s 3-for-3 to start the next-gen console restoration on Friday. Will it help us in the fourth – full month -? That’s what we’ll find on Friday afternoon, the usual time for Best by Restock.

Here’s another say console is coming: Target customers nationwide PS5 inventory will be shown at the kiosk on Sunday night ahead of expected sales. Twitch streamer Myguyamsifly sent a photo to Snapdragon Snap, looking down, showing 18 PS5 consoles in stock at a local target in Minnesota, indicating that the store had at least some inventory earlier in the week.
With even more PS5 consoles stocked at Target in Austin, Texas, customer Esteban reaches out to us on Twitter to share a photo in a direct message.
On Sunday night he told us, “I went to my local target a few minutes ago and have some stock.” The screen shows 25+ PS5 consoles on hand and 41 on the back. Nothing is being sold yet. “For the PS5 digital edition, they only have 6, so I’m aiming for the disc version,” he noted.
