“It simply came to our notice then. There have been ups and downs. We continue these endless debates about the inside vs. the outsider, but no one really knows the solution to it and even if you do, it can’t be implemented because the choice of a film is a very subjective matter. You can’t say that because that guy is a star kid, he’s the right choice for this movie. You can’t even say that an outsider would suit the film in the best way. If you do, the tables will rotate. So there is no pointless compromise in this discussion. It’s about your end conscience. It’s about how true you are to the way things work. ”
Elaborating further, she added, “My journey has been a testament to the fact that I have patience and hard work. It’s also luck because I think 70 percent of the time it’s luck that gets you into movies. The remaining 30 percent is how you abuse that fate. Don’t take chances. Being an outsider, you really have to be on your toes because you can’t miss a single opportunity because you don’t know which opportunity will give a new direction to your career. ”
