Exclusive news about the upcoming WWE film match on “Extreme Rules”

As previously reported, the next Extreme Rules pay-per-view now has the slogan “The Horror Show”.

The event will feature Braun Strowman defending the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in a film match, which was first reported by Ringside News.

Wrestling Inc. has learned that the plan is to have multiple locations and tell stories about its past to the present. They want to go back to what made Boneyard’s game special “but in a Bray Wyatt way.” Wyatt is said to be heavily involved in the creation of this match alongside Jeremy Borash. Triple H will also be involved when the time comes to film along with a few others. They are trying to keep this session close to the vest.

Filming locations are being sought as this will be another outdoor night shoot. Michael PS Hayes, who was involved in some of the other film matches, will not be involved as he will undergo hip surgery, although he may have some contribution to make up the story.

A source pointed out to me that this will be a cross between a Terminator and a horror movie, highlighting Bray’s ability to always revive himself. The plan is for the game to be more action packed than Wyatt’s “Firefly Funhouse” match against John Cena in Wrestlemania last April

Extreme Rules: The Horror Show will air live on July 19 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
