In an earlier tweet, President Taylor called a ‘dissatisfied employee’ and said he did not know and had never heard from him.
“Said he walked away and is on the open arms Fake News circuit,” Trump tweeted. “See that it’s a real ‘stiff’. They will take everyone up against us!”
The President regularly claims he does not know individuals in his administration who are critical of him, including multiple witnesses who testify during his trial.
Taylor worked at DHS from 2017 to 2019. He spent part of that time as Chief of Staff to former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

Trump’s attack came after Taylor signed Biden in an advertisement for the group of Republican voters against Trump.
He penned too in op-ed in The Washington Post that alleged Trump tried to “exploit the Department of Homeland Security for his own political purposes and thank his own agenda.”
“It’s more than a little ironic that Trump is campaigning for a second term as president of law and order,” Taylor wrote. “His first term has been dangerously chaotic. Four years of this are unthinkable. ”
The president in his tweet did not deny any of Taylor’s claims, which included allegations that Trump tried to cut federal wildfire aid to California because Californians did not support him and that the president “had a deliberate policy toward children of to rip off their parents shows those parents that they should not come to the border in the first place. “
During an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” early Tuesday, Taylor dismissed criticism from the White House that he had spoken out against Trump for profit.
“In Donald Trump’s Washington, there’s no doubt that doing this reputably, professionally will be difficult for me, and it will definitely get a hit with my paperback,” Taylor said. ‘This has nothing to do with money. This has to do with honesty about the president and bringing the country to party. ”
