Everything by weight, including Poirier and Hooker

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on the scene and reported live from the UFC early and official on Friday at the ESPN 12 Fighter Weigh-In, where all 20 fighters on the card were on target.

In the main event, former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier (25-6 MMA, 17-5 UFC) faces Dan Hooker (20-8 MMA, 10-4 UFC). Poirier was the first fighter on the scale in the two-hour weighing window and weighed 156 pounds. Hooker weighed less than 10 minutes later and was 155.5.

In the co-feature, Mickey Gall (6-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) meets polarizing welterweight Mike Perry (13-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC). Gall reached 170 pounds on the nose. Perry was 171, although he tried to weigh without a face mask and when he was told he had to wear it, he said he was not using one to weigh on the test scale. But with that on, he was on the mark, regardless.

The first weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same location houses the Saturday card, which airs on ESPN and airs on ESPN +.
