This is an especially frustrating problem as affected Windows 10 users end up stuck in an update download cycle and then see the installation process fail. Windows 10 users have reported receiving error codes like 0x8007000d and 0x800f0922.
While an error message that appeared after the installation process stopped working said: “Some update files are missing or have problems. We will try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)”.
Elsewhere, Windows 10 users have also reported that cumulative update KB4592438 has caused CPU and GPU performance to stall. Others have said that the latest Windows 10 update is causing delays when they try to open and close problems.
On Reddit, an affected user wrote: “I’m getting a weird spike in CPU usage after my upgrade. Like shooting up and down 100 percent with just one browser open.”
Another posted: “All the Windows updates that have been done to my computer in the last two months have slowed down my computer, caused problems with the graphics drivers and a whole host of other things. Honestly, now I’m getting a little tired of All this”.
