The most recent reality star revealed that she was not a fan of her baby mom having a C-section. The couple went to the doctors for their normal ultrasound check-up, but soon discovered that Ariela had lost too much amniotic fluid and would have to deliver the same day.

Fans saw how a distraught Ariela couldn’t calm down enough to receive an epidural. The doctors and nurses were frantic when they told her to stop crying, which only made the mother cry more. The reality star was inconsolable, laying down on the operating table and crying after calling her mother to tell her the news. TLC fans empathized with her fear, but still believed that she should have stayed in the United States to deliver her baby. Biniyam, on the other hand, told cameras that he was not happy that his baby had to be delivered by cesarean section. He explained to the film crew that many believe that if a child is born by natural birth, the mother’s love will be stronger than if the baby has just emerged from the womb. He explained that the pain the mother goes through makes them stronger. Most Ethiopian men are not part of the birthing process, but the sneak peek showed that Biniyam was in the operating room, holding her fiancé’s hand.

The entire delivery process seemed very overwhelming and downright scary to viewers who saw how Ariela kept hyperventilating. Many were concerned that she would stress herself and the baby. While fans are still unsure of the status of their relationship, many have begun to think that Ariela will tire of living in a third world country and will quickly return home to a life she is more used to.
