Since this feature is already available to beta users of the app, the company is expected to roll it out soon for non-beta Android users as well.
The new storage section will help users to see directly which content takes up the maximum storage, as it will display them in the large files section. Besides this, it will also have a forwarded files section that will help users to view and segregate the unimportant files from the application storage. Users will continue to see their chats with other contacts and how much space each chat has taken up.
