Ethiopian authorities have detained several Egyptian nationals at Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport for visa violations and quarantine, according to a statement from the Egyptian embassy in Addis Ababa on Thursday.
Fifty-two Egyptian passengers were released later Thursday and placed in a hotel and another 24 will follow in the next few hours, according to another statement from the embassy.
