Gamers will soon be able to play cross-platform Ubisoft games seamlessly, with their save data backed up in the cloud.
He announced that, in the future, player data will be saved to his new Ubisoft Connect service.
This meant that players could switch game devices or even use their friends’, and be able to pick up the game where they left off.

The French video game developer explained that Ubisoft Connect would be a comprehensive ecosystem of player services, effectively merging its Uplay desktop app and its Ubisoft Club loyalty program.
Players could also play online with other members of the community, regardless of whether they were on PC or console.
The new service would be free, although players would need to sign up for a Ubisoft account.
For now, the cross-platform functionality would apply only to some future games and recent releases, including Hyper Scape, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortal Fenyx Rising Y Republic of horsemen.
Ubisoft Connect would also work on older catalog games and provide player stats, leaderboards, and more.
He added that the old Challenge System, which rewarded players for performing certain tasks in the game, was not available. To make up for this, it offered players more than 1,000 rewards for various games.
The new loyalty system worked by issuing in-store currency, called Units, that players can spend on rewards or even to get discounts on their next game purchase.
The service will be available on October 29, the same day as your next game. Watch Dogs: Legion.
