Ubisoft + can join the service

Xbox Games Pass is without a doubt one of the best things that can happen to modern games.

The service allows players to download and play hundreds of games for a low monthly subscription cost.

Ubisoft + Joining Game Pass

It is rumored that Ubisoft’s own subscription service, Ubisoft +, may join Games Pass and be available to subscribers for free as part of the subscription.

Jez corden, editor for Windows Central, tweeted about the rumors and stated that it “has a good chance of being true.”

This could add more than 100 Ubisoft games to the already extensive catalog.

Games currently offered as part of the Ubisoft + subscription include:

  • Watch Dogs Legion
  • Far Cry New Dawn
  • Division 2
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
  • Rainbow six siege
  • Crew 2
  • For honor
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Will it include Xbox?

Right now, Ubisoft + is only available for PC, with plans to bring it to Stadia this year.

If Ubisoft partners with Microsoft, it could bring the service to Xbox, or it could become a bigger selling point for PC Games Pass subscribers.

EA Play

In 2020, EA Play joined Xbox Games Pass Ultimate, adding more than 100 titles to Games Pass.

EA Play is scheduled to come to Games Pass for PC, but has been delayed.

It seems like Microsoft is really trying to make moves to make Games Pass the best selling point for the Microsoft brand.

Having new titles from EA and Ubisoft, as well as all Microsoft-owned titles available on Day 1, makes it an important factor in deciding whether to move to Xbox or PlayStation this generation.
