USAFA – Justin Bean had 15 points to lead five Utah State players in double figures as the Aggies easily beat the Air Force 83-48.

Brock Miller added 14 points for the Aggies.

Air Force sophomore Nikc Jackson led the Falcons with 11 points.

Utah State forced the Air Force to lose 26 turnovers, leading to a 45-5 point lead on turnovers. Forward Justin Bean led five players in double figures for Utah State with a game-high 15 points.

“They’re both ends of the floor,” Air Force head coach Joe Scott said. “We have to figure out what to do offensively in regards to those turnovers. There is no question about our execution and what we can do better. And then, just as important, we have a movie to watch: see what they did and what they did. We can do better defensively. But we already know they got 45 points out of those 26 turnovers, it’s a great place to start right there. “

The Falcons and Aggies will play the second game of the two-game series this Saturday, January 2 and rush hour is 4 p.m. MT.
