The Game Awards promise many reveals, and one of the biggest will be the trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Season 1.
Activision and developers Treyarch not only plan to release the first Battle Pass of the new game later this month, but also integrate this new content between Modern Warfare and Cod Warzone.
A new map is coming to Warzone called Rebirth Island, as well as a Gulag mode and experience.
Not to mention the new Black Ops weapons, blueprints, that will be available to use in multiplayer and Battle Royale modes.
A message from Activision adds: “Get ready for an incredible amount of free content in Black Ops Cold War, including new multiplayer maps, new and fan-favorite 6v6 playlists and modes, the return of Gunfight 2v2 with four new maps and a Huge new Squad Map.
“This offering includes a battle across a sprawling luxury complex within Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills. That’s right – Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s legendary 6v6 map known as Raid will be ready to play in Black Ops Cold War at the launch of the first season.
“Make room at your Gunsmith table to purchase free weapons and prepare for new zombie modes, seasonal challenges, and the full launch of crossover titles from the Seasonal Prestige system, with up to 1,000 seasonal levels to advance!
“It’s an unprecedented amount of free content, and teams are gearing up for the biggest Season One launch week ever. For this to happen, we will take a few more days to finalize everything before releasing this huge drop in new and free content to the community. “
All of these new things will be revealed during The Game Awards as part of a huge trailer release, set for 4 p.m. PT on December 10.
For players in the UK, this will mean that the Cold War Season 1 reveal will take place at midnight on Friday, December 11.

And in the run-up to The Game Awards 2020, the event’s official account startup has been launching a number of announcements.
The first award winner has been announced, with PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima receiving the Player’s Voice award.
