With the news of Super Mario 3D All-Stars released later this month. The set will include Super mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super mario galaxy. For me, however, the last game of the three is the one that excites me the most.
Do not misunderstand Super mario 64 is an incredibly important game from the point of view of the historical design of the game and Super Mario Sunshine it’s pretty bright too, but it’s Super mario galaxy that really got me interested here.
Partly because when Wii came out, the highest resolution you would get for the game (officially at least) was 480p. So having it on the Switch means you’ll get a much-needed resolution boost.
However, the main reason I’m so excited is because Super mario galaxy is one of the most amazingly designed games in the series and it was a pleasure to play.
Speaking of joy, the Joy-Cons likely handle the motion controls so I’m sure it’ll work fine, but what it really does Super mario galaxy Stand out is its diabolical level design.
Something I’m looking forward to getting caught up in, especially since the levels really played with what a 3D platformer could do.
I had so much fun reviewing the game when it originally released and I unlocked all 121 stars the first time, so I can’t wait to do it again.
