It is officially Week 16 of the NFL season and the image of the playoffs is beginning to crystallize.

Gallup is that guy

Dallas receiver Michael Gallup first stayed in bounds for the incredible reception, then followed up with his second touchdown of the day.

Not good

The Falcons had a chance to force overtime against the Chiefs in Kansas City, but this missed field goal sealed their fate and secured the No. 1 seed for the Chiefs in the AFC playoffs.

Fighting

The Steelers battled from a 24-7 deficit to take the lead against the Colts after this Ben Roethlisberger touchdown pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Pittsburgh was then able to maintain its advantage thanks to this interception by Mike Hilton.

Once Lamar Jackson decides to change gears, there’s nothing stopping him from getting big yards.

Bombs away!

Tricksters

The Browns have been consistent in making trick plays this season, but the Jets gave them a taste of their own medicine with this play.

Spark plug

TJ Watt’s second sack forced a fumble, giving the Steelers the spark they needed against the Colts.

Not quite

Patrick Mahomes might be the most exciting player in the NFL with the ball in his hands, but it might not have been a good idea to try to turn him into a wide receiver on this play.

Toe touchdown

Jaguars wide receiver DJ Chark showed his footwork with this touchdown reception against the Bears.

Gunfighter mentality

Philip Rivers still loves to throw it deep, as evidenced by this 42-yard touchdown pass to Zach Pascal.

Large turnover

The Chiefs were heading for a touchdown until this interception at the goal line for the Falcons sent the momentum turning in their favor.

Human pinball

Bengals running back Samaje Perine bounced off Texans defenders for this long touchdown run.

Becoming habitual

Another week, another touchdown for Dez Bryant, who is making this a habit as a member of the Ravens.

Another forced fumble

For the second time, the Jets were able to get to Baker Mayfield and force a fumble.

Special plays on special teams

Special teams are important, and the Panthers turned this cushioned punt into a touchdown.

Pain and Gain

The Eagles have done magic with rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts, with him landing an 81-yard bomb to DeSean Jackson.

Rookie records

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert set the NFL record for most passing touchdowns by a rookie in a season with a shot to Austin Ekler (28).

Danger-RUSS

On third down, Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson made a big play with a 45-yard bomb on the run to David Moore.
