Apple had its biggest phone announcement this week and the iPhone 12 quartet quickly rose to the top of our trend chart.
Unsurprisingly, given that it rose to the top even before its official debut, the iPhone 12 Pro Max ranks first. The 12 mini slides are placed second with the middle children of 12 Pro and 12 following in that order.
That’s not a surprising development, as the mini and the Pro Max are unique propositions: one is by far the smallest phone with a flagship chipset, and the other is the most capable iPhone yet. But even the position of all the 12 Pro and 12 trades didn’t stop them from rounding out the top four, which bodes well for Apple’s holiday season sales.
Fifth, we have the other big debut of the week: OnePlus 8T, which barely beats the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro. Actually, it is really impressive that the Xiaomi phone has only lost one position when seeing the flood of new announcements.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is seventh, followed by another Xiaomi phone: the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Last week’s leader, the Galaxy F41 is now in ninth place, as the upcoming Redmi K30S completes the top 10.
This leaves no room for the Google Pixel 5, Samsung’s mid-range pair of the Galaxy M51 and Galaxy A51, as well as the Poco X3 NFC. The Redmi Note 9 is the latest member of last week’s top 10 to miss out this time.
